Brief Description


The Bahay na Bato, as the name suggests, was formerly a bahay na bato structure now converted into a multipurpose hall of the university. Its foundation and exterior shell remained intact.


Significance

The Bahay na Bato is a century-old house that served as the first classrooms for the Baliuag Institute (now Baliuag University) in the 1920s. The house had four to five classrooms inside then. Baliuag University is one of the first schools in Baliwag founded in 1925. The Bahay na Bato is the only existing structure of the Baliuag University that remains today.
