Brief Description
The historical marker of Felipe “Apo Ipe” Salvador is located inside the Baliwag North Central School in Baliwag, Bulacan. It was installed and unveiled on May 26, 2021 in synchronous to Salvador's 151st Birth Anniversary.
Significance
Felipe Salvador was born on May 26, 1870 in Baliwag, Bulacan. He was considered a local revolutionary hero and was known in the Central Luzon region as Apo Ipe. He joined the Katipunan and led several attacks in the garrisons of Spanish forces. He also established Santa Iglesia, whose members supported his aim to overthrow the American colonizer.
