Brief Description


A bust of Jose Rizal made of wood and painted with probably acrylic or latex paint


Significance


The bust was created by an unknown artist in circa 1910-1915. The existence of the bust is evident in the photos of Rizal Day Parade held in Baliwag in line of the commemoration of Rizal Day every December 30. When not in use for the parade, bust is housed in the Sangguniang Bayan Hall at the Lumang Munispyo where important meetings and passing of the resolutions was passed from 1915-1970.
